Hello, dear readers!
Today we will be talking about DDR Toy Stoves dating back to the early 1960s/1970s. The original manufactor is Efzet, I believe. Correct me if I am wrong!
I believe this toy stove is the most earliest one out of all the DDR stoves I have researched about. Not completely sure. I so far have seen this stove in white, but I am sure it comes in other colors.
Isn't this one absoutely cute!? I haven't seen any of this kind in mint before, as the seller says it is a rare kind and I believe her/him!
The red/white color combination DDR toy stoves seem to be the most common I have seen so far. They do come in a other color, blue.
They usually are sold with little cookware and sometimes little kitchen utensils in either usually metal or wood.
Photo courtesy of DollEnthousiastHome on Etsy. This one is already sold BUT the owner puts up a lisiting of two sometimes. The cookies she made is a example made from tealights. I would guess it is 5~7 inches wide and 3~4 inches deep including the wall thing behind.
This little guy with a tall wall and cabinets are really rare especially with a glass door and metal stove tops.
Here is one with cabinets again buy thid time a bit wider with a grill or a dish rack, whatever it is. (Not sure, haha!)
With doors open. Toy stoves usually have little holes in them for air circulation when using them for miniature cooking I am guessing...
Now onto the blue/white combination DDR toy stoves.
From around the 60s or 70s. I'll guess they are about around 6~10 inches. Not sure at all... If your lucky, you will get them all intact, with no rust, with all the knobs, and all the original items included with the box. Unfortunately it seems like the sellers sell it for a more expensive price if the original box is included? Like, why? What's the box useful for, anyways?
Last but definitely NOT least, we have our electric DDR stoves. I'm taking a guess that the brand is Ahiotka by the high wall thing on the back. Definitely a rare one.
I am going to guess that these electric stoves are not made by Efzet... All dates back around the 60s/70s.
Seems there is supposed to be a plug, but there isn't. Very clean for a vintage! Date unknown.
Apparently there was a little stove top hiding~ You just need to lift it open to reveal it!
Throwing in a random old DDR in red/white in excellent condition
Hope you all really enjoyed my post! I will be editing sometimes just in case I find other tyoe of colors.
Have a good day!
